April 13th 2006: Leptis Magna
Where are we? It was raining in the night and in the early morning. Is this Switzerland or Great Britain? No, just a very rare phenomena in Libya ;-)
We then went to visit the big Roman site of Leptis Magna. For over 3 hours we where walking around. The sky was overcast but temperatures where fair.
My feet where pretty flat when we where done but it was a very nice and interesting visit.
The bus brought us then back to Tripoli in a Hotel.

In the evening we had a tour in the old town of Tripoli and parts of the souk.
